Day 124: Around the edges
Here is an interesting thing I learned on Pinterest the other day. If you use dryer sheets around the edges of your toilet seat…inside and outside…your toilet will come out sparkling clean and smelling fresh. It doesn’t even have to be a new dryer sheet. In fact, The Krazy Coupon Lady said it works better if they are used.
“The fibers in dryer sheets and the weave create a grime-grabbing scrubbing tool that won’t scratch sinks and tubs. Fabric softener in the sheet make dirt and scum slip right off. It used to take me about an hour to scrub the bathroom really well. These days I spend about 10 minutes. When I let the secret slip to friends and family they all tried it out and swear by this technique.”
I also learned that if you use dryer sheets on your baseboards you can take off that sticky dust nice and easily!
Okay…now get to cleaning!

I am going to give it a try right now and report back
WOW! Who knew? The baseboard idea is awwsome, and I had some nasty ones! They cleaned right up and even looked polished. Now if there was just an easier way to do them than getting down on your knees.
