Day 128: Layers
When I was 6 months pregnant I decided my fingers were getting just big enough that my wedding ring was getting a little too tight to wear. I took it off and replaced it with some cheap ring I bought from Walmart. Toward the end that one started to get a little tight and I replaced that one with a Princess Diana knockoff.
My hopes were shattered when I got home from the hospital and couldn’t slide that beauty back on my finger. I guess I was naive. After a few weeks I got a new ring and replaced my ring, yet again. I really liked this love ring. The only thing I didn’t like about it is I kept getting it caught on towels and sweaters. I ruined a few of my favorite things actually.
So I switched back to my first, a green cheap stone ring. I wore that until the fake silver wore off the bottom of the ring. Now I am back to the Princess Diana/ Princess Kate, but it is huge on me. I have to take it off to workout or it is all over the place. Sometimes I even have to take it off when I am typing because it twists and falls between my fingers and gets in the way.
Why am I telling you all of this? I weigh less then I did when I got pregnant and look!
I am not even close to it fitting! What is that all about!!!???
I am well under what I weighed when it fit. How many more layers of fat do I have to lose before I can wear it again? And more importantly how did I gain so much weight in my FINGERS!?
What a rip off!






























I know you want to get that ring back on but I would rather have the weight on my finger than on my big butt. SLOWLY but surely we will conquer this beast!!!
