Fingers crossed that our little one is going to have moves like these kiddos. Start ‘em young!
We started our Disney days out by heading into Disneyland first…bright and early.
Immediately we started seeing characters!
One of our first rides was Splash Mountain. I have NEVER gotten to wet on this ride as I did on this day.
I may not look all that wet…that is because I am SOOO wet my clothes are all one color.
Later in the day we visited Mickey in his house…notice that I am in different clothes? I was so cold after Splash Mountain that I went and got a new pair of pants.
That night we went over to California Adventure and experienced World of Color! Talk about amazing!! (I cried.)

Last but not least….this mother gave us a great laugh while waiting for the Tiki Room.
I love a good debate! Especially when it ends with a hug and ice cream
That is why I decided to start Friday’s Friendly Fight. Each Friday I will bring up a topic. Feel free to jump in the conversation with your thoughts and feelings. Then at the end of day, we will all be friends and have seen each others view on the topic. (If you have suggestions for a topic, let me know!)
Here is the topic today:
A few weeks ago I went to Seven Peaks with my sister, brother-in-law, two nieces and a nephew. Look how cute they are! We had a blast playing in the sun.
Before we get into the debate, let me share a little story with you…don’t drink while you read this story…it may come out your nose.
First of all, take a look at these slides.
My cute little nephew wanted to go on these slides. His sisters were too scared to go with him and mom and dad didn’t want to go. So I played the best aunt card and took him on the yellow slide…nice and easy.
Check out his form…arms and legs spread wide open. So much for my instructions at the top, “Cross your feet and arms!” He loved it. I also liked it but the wedgie at the end just ruins it all for me. I am not talking a little wedgie either…I am talking full on the entire back of your suit in your crack wedgie.
Unfortunately when I hit the bottom Austin wanted to go on the blue slide. Well, I am not a chicken and I DID have to live up to the best aunt status so of course I took him on it.
I went second in case he got too chicken and didn’t go down.
Look at my cute suit! It is from Diviine Modestee. (Check out that link… I am practically famous!)
Well that cute suit did something completely unexpected. It wasn’t so modest in the end…not just because of the wedgie factor either. When I got to the bottom of that fun blue slide, I was so concerned about picking my big ol’ wedgie that I didn’t notice the right side of my chest hanging out! That’s right…the suit rode right up my body and out popped my boob. And not just a little…there was full on nippledge! After I realized I was turning this family water park into a nude beach, I pulled my top down and stepped out to greet my sister, my brother-in-law, their three kids, the lifeguard, 2 random men, and a lady.
I thought my sister and brother-in-law were going to lose it. I laughed it off but I wouldn’t say I was embarrassed. I mean “Oops! ha ha” but not like “I have got to get out of here.”
Next we were headed for the wave pool. Aww….laying and relaxing in the sun…with about 200 kids yelling all around…eh! Well, after about 7 attempts I finally hopped up on my tube and headed out into the water. (Note: I have no arm muscles I swear!) Once we were out there I tried to adjust my bathing suit. You see, clear tubes and a butt in the hole can sometimes not look the cutest. In the process of trying to adjust myself, I fell out of my tube.
GREAT! The waves had started, I am out a little in the water, and now I have to try again to get back in the stupid tube!? Each time the wave would come I would try to catch the low part so my feet could touch and I could jump back up. About 10 attempts later I got up…but was caught between, “If I continue to pull myself up I will lose my bottoms,” and “I can’t get down because I will never get back up.” I gave myself one more boost and up and over the top I went! GRR! I can’t get up on this dang tube!
Finally after several more attempts I got myself up. Unfortunately there was only about 6 more minutes of waves left. PS…they go for about 15-20 minutes. Once up I was wasted! I didn’t have anymore energy left.
As I was soaking up the sun at last, I looked over and saw a mother laying in a tube with her sleeping child on her chest. Now this wasn’t any sleeping child…it was a tiny little baby. She was in the deep end (my guess is 8 feet deep) of a 400,000 gallon wave pool with a tiny little baby. Not to mention there are tons of kids around and four feet high waves. One mistake and that tube could flip.
So here are the debate questions:
**Is this mother putting her child in danger by having it out there?
**Should the lifeguard prevented this?
**If you would have seen this would you have said something to her, the lifeguard, or other authorities?
Ready…Set…DEBATE!
Do you remember the Ouga Chacka Baby from years ago?
He is getting a run for his money from this little Brazilian tot.
I hope my kids have mad dance skillz like this little cutie does.
(Wait until it loads all the way to get the best experience
)
On Saturday, my husband surprised me with the conversation of a dog. (See! Wish List Wednesday DOES work!) After we discussed what we would like and Adam laid down some terms, we went on the search for the perfect pooch.
We went from pet store to pet store, looked at adopting a rescued dog, and checked out the local classifieds. Finally after a whole day of not falling in love with any dog in particular that fit all the terms…no shedding, hypoallergenic, and a puppy…we went back to the first store to refresh our memory.
That is when we saw HIM! The cutest little puppy ever!
This is Max…the newest member of the Robertson family!
He is a bichon frise and yorkshire terrier mix.

You can call him a Bichorkie (Bee-shore-key), a Yo-Chon (Yo-Shawn), or a Borkie (Boar-key).
He is the tiniest little puppy with the biggest personality! Weighing in at 1 lb 14 oz., he fits in one hand. He loves everyone and wants to kiss and cuddle them all. His favorite place to rest is on a shoulder or thop of a chest just under your chin.
Here are some highlights of his first weekend at his new home.
He tried to climb up the steps, but he is just too little!
As soon as he sees us come in to the room, he gets so excited! Maybe he thinks we can’t see him so if he peeks his little head through the bars we will notice him
He even jumps! Sometimes he will just pick up his back legs so he is hanging on by his front paws!
He had his first accident…but just barely missed the “potty place.” (Okay, I know it is kind of gross, but it was a first in our house!
)
The proud dad gave him his first bath! He was so good. No crying or squirming. Good dog!
Life in our house has been filled of laughter and excitement. We love our little Max!
Today we went to Max’s first vet appointment. Not only did we find out he was beginning to get a little ear infection, but our boy Max is not a boy at all. In fact HE is a SHE! When the Dr. told us that, both Adam and I looked at each other with dropped jaws. The paper on the window at the pet store said male AND the paperwork they sent home with us said male.
Our cute little Maxwell “Max” Robertson is now Maxine “Max” Robertson

We aren’t upset. We love this little tiny cutie no matter what. The only difference will be “Good Girl” instead of “Good Boy” and she might start to wear a bow or two in her hair. Adam was quick to veto the pink tutu idea. Tutu or not we are happy to welcome such a happy little, no shedding, hypoallergenic, no barking sole into our home!
When you wish upon a star….
What should I wish for this week?

I was watching the Today Show this morning and this girl brought her cute dog on.
I love dogs! {Except all of my neighbors dogs that constantly bark ALL day and night long.} Dogs make me smile. They do funny things, they act funny ways, and they always love you no matter what. It is so fun to wonder what they are thinking or if they could talk what they would say.
Maybe that is why I liked Up! so much. SQUIRREL!

My dog at home…AKA my parents home…is the greatest! He does great tricks including crawling like his is in the Army and singing the barking part of Who Let the Dogs Out. He has such a fun personality….even if he is getting old, going bald, can’t smell, and can barely hear!
There is one great trick that the Today Show dog, Riley, can do that Buster (my little buddy boy) can’t. Maybe I can teach him this trick next time I see him.
Isn’t this picture the greatest! It isn’t photo shopped or anything. This is the real face Riley pulled on his birthday. He must love sweets like me!
Now, go give your dog(s) a belly rub for me! {You are lucky to have a dog…thanks to my wonderful hubby’s allergies I probably will never have one.
